Event Manager - Closing Enrollment Window
Here is a tip for users who have processed an Administrative Event, but need to correct the effective dates after the employee makes their elections. After the effective dates are corrected, you may also use this tip to prevent the employee from making additional coverage changes, which may cause coverage effective dates to be changed to an incorrect date. This process may be used any time an administrator wants to close the enrollment window for an employee.
To close the window, simply access the employee record and select "Processed Events" from the left navigation bar. Next, click the drop-down menu and change the status from Open to Closed. Click the Update button to immediately close the enrollment window.

Profile Tool - Default Page Setting
Did you know that you can set up your manager self-service tool to automatically default to the page you use the most?
By using the Profile option, you can select the default screen that will display each time you access an employee record. For example, you may set your default screen to always display the employee benefits summary instead of the employee record page.
To use this setting, click the Profile button in the top left corner of the manager self-service tool and use the drop down to select the page you want to display as the default and select Save. The next time you access an employee record, the page you selected in your profile will display first.

Reports - Refreshing Frequently Used Reports
Users who run the same report frequently may customize their report prompts and filters through the manager self-service report module to save time when running reports.
Not only can you easily and quickly utilize any of the standard reports available through the Reports section of the manager self-service tool, but also you may tailor those reports with custom prompts and/or filters.
If you have reports that must be updated frequently, simply save the report save the report in the "My Reports" or "Shared Reports" section of the site. Transaction Log - Sorting Transactions
Did you know you can sort the transaction log?
The system automatically defaults to "date entered" with the newest dated transaction at the top. If you want to research an issue with a specific plan, you simply click on "Plan Name" and the log with sort and group all transactions for each plan type to figure out the history or chain of events that happened with that plan.
